In June 2017, Sandman and his wife, Bonnie, of Pittsburgh, traveled to the eastern coast of Scotland to visit Thomson and his wife, Tina, at their Dornoch home. Their house is a scant 5 miles from Skibo Castle, which was the Carnegie Family’s beloved retreat in the Highlands of Scotland for 80 years.
