Arthur Ambrose Naltner rescued Charles E. Snowdy from a runaway automobile, Cincinnati, Ohio, February 29, 1984. Snowdy, 25, was knocked unconscious when he was hit by a piece of metal that crashed through his windshield as he drove on Interstate 75. As Snowdy’s full-sized car continued traveling out of control at about 45 m.p.h., Naltner, 42, salesman, maneuvered his subcompact car in front of Snowdy’s and, braking, brought both cars to a stop. Snowdy recovered from his injuries.
