Arthur J. Sweeney, 44, foreman, died saving William J. Callahan, 18, from suffocation, Buffalo, New York, September 10, 1907. Sweeney entered a tank where Callahan lay, overcome by sulphureted hydrogen, and lifted him to others at the top who pulled him out. Before Sweeney could climb out, he fell unconscious and was dead when taken out. 2693-237
