Clark H. Presley, 43, driver, died attempting to save Howard M. Huseselton, 3, from being run over by a streetcar, Nottingham, Ohio, August 31, 1911. Presley ran to the edge of the track and, with the car only 20 feet away and approaching at a speed of 30 m.p.h., reached for the child, who sat between the rails. Before he could grasp the boy, the car struck him. He was fatally injured and died two hours later. The child was run over by the car and died the following day. 7174-578
