Clifton Taylor helped to save Beverley R. Boynton from drowning, North Head, New Brunswick, November 26, 1971. When very rough surf in the Bay of Fundy caused his boat to roll and throw him into water 30 feet deep, Boynton, 46, fisherman, became entangled in a line and struggled to get free as he was carried toward exposed rocks. Taylor, 46, fisherman, aboard a second boat with his nephew, piloted his craft to Boynton. With the vessel pitching and rolling in the rough surf, Taylor and his nephew attempted without success to get Boynton aboard. Twice Taylor moved the boat back from the rocks. They then towed Boynton out of the rough surf and into an area of heavy swells, where a crewman from a third boat aided Taylor and his nephew in pulling Boynton out of the water.
