Edward W. Noll, 25, brewery worker, died assisting in an attempt to save Patrick F. Williamson, 22, brewery worker, from suffocation, Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, January 10, 1910. Williamson had entered a tank to save a rescue a man who had been overcome by fumes of amyl nitrite. He lifted the man to others at the top, but fell unconscious himself. Noll collapsed while on the rim of the tank helping to rescue Williamson, and was dead when taken down. Williamson was dead when gotten out. 4657-351
