Ernestine F. Atwood saved Harry M. Smith from drowning, North Weymouth, Massachusetts, August 22, 1904. Ernestine, 17, student, dived from a rowboat in Boston Harbor, 200 feet from the shore, and rescued Smith, 36, from under a float.
