Fred J. Handley saved Peter S. Okoniewski from drowning, Oswego, New York, July 31, 1933. (See case of EVERETT T. KING.) Handley, 43, blacksmith, was fully clothed. After Peter, 12, schoolboy, had been raised to the dam, Handley remained in the water and helped to raise John to the dam. He then was pulled out of the water.
