Glen N. Bulmer saved Gerlad W. Marsh from drowning, Kelowna, British Columbia, October 9, 1991. Marsh, 44, was operating a bulldozer on the bank of Okanagan lake with the bank collapsed, sending the bulldozer into deep water. Marsh freed himself from the bulldozer and surfaced, disoriented. Bulmer, 36, truck driver, was nearby; he radioed for help, then ran to the edge of the unstable bank. Since the bank continued to collapse, Bulmer moved Marsh through the water to a more stable area, where others aided them from the lake. Marsh recovered from minor injuries. Bulmer sustained scratches to his leg from which he recovered. 67935-7809
