Harold Alfred Davison, 17, schoolboy, died assisting in an attempt to save G. William Willmott, 19, schoolboy, from drowning, Southampton, Ontario, August 2, 1927. (See case of RALPH WILLIAM BUTTERY.) Although Harold had not swum for a year because he feared a recurrence of heart trouble, he swam 119 feet from the pier to Willmott, helped to support him for a time, suddenly threw up his hands, and sank.
