Harry E. Price, 29, grocer, died attempting to save Margaret W. Clark, 25, from drowning, Port Bruce, Ontario, August 19, 1928. While wading on a bar in Lake Erie, Mrs. Clark and Price’s sister were carried by a large wave into deep water 100 feet from shore. Price swam about 15 feet from the bar to the women and supported them momentarily and was then relieved of his sister. Price and Mrs. Clark got into a struggle, and both were drowned. 28842-2369
