Harry Packer Wilbur, Jr., 24, student, saved Richard R. Macsherry, 10, from drowning, Rockport, Ontario, June 16, 1928. (See case of FRANCIS MACLEOD WILLIS.) Wilbur steered the launch, free of the barge, to a point about 50 feet downstream from the two in the water. He then swam against a fast current to them and grasped Richard. He swam with difficulty 75 feet to the launch, and both were assisted into it by the sole occupant, a young girl.
