While Rosalie, 14, was swimming in Otsego Lake with Alice, 10, on her back, Alice became frightened and struggled. Campbell, 21, student, swam a few feet to them, but they grabbed him and wrapped their legs around him. Helen, 17, student, who had been warned by her physician against entering the water, dived fully dressed from a raft and swam 20 feet under water to the three.
