Henry Wagner, 23, trestle foreman, saved Lawrence E. Riddle, 36, superintendent, from suffocation, Etna, Pennsylvania, June 11, 1912. (See case of ALEXANDER JOHNSON.) Wagner ran 150 feet and climbed the ladder. He assisted in pulling Beck and Meyer from the charging?box, and when Riddle was overcome, he slid down to him although he was still somewhat breathless. He quickly tied a rope around Riddle, who was then pulled to the top. Wagner began to gasp and to get dizzy. A rope was hastily let down to him, and he grasped it. He was assisted to the top and then to the ground and was revived. 8699-764
