Herman Santow died attempting to save Anthony Pivinsky from electric shock, Wilmington, Delaware, June 25, 1924. Anthony, 5, grasped a wire carrying a current of 2,300 volts and was instantly knocked down and was motionless, the wire resting on his hand. Santow, 41, yardman, ran to Anthony and took hold of him, but as he touched Anthony, Santow groaned and fell to the ground. Both were killed. 24349-1924
