J. Bruce Orr saved William I. Parry from being killed by a train, Edgeworth, Pennsylvania, November 1, 1922. While walking over a railroad crossing as an express train, running about 45 m.p.h., was approaching, Parry, 57, salesman, who was somewhat lame, paused on the track. Orr, 46, attorney, who had just crossed the track, heard shouts, turned, took a hurried step or two to Parry, linked his arm through Parry’s, and drew him off the track, barely clearing the locomotive. 22895-1765
