James A. Forsyth, 49, boilermaker, saved John C. Reed, 71, from being run over by a train, Atlanta, Georgia, February 10, 1907. Forsyth ran 20 feet ahead of the passenger train, which had been running 30 m.p.h. up to within 45 feet of Reed, and crossed the track, pushing Reed in front of him, barely being missed by the engine. 1791-227
