Julius Hassel, 15, student, died attempting to save Nathan Dorman, 31, designer, from drowning, Wallingford, Connecticut, August 12, 1920. Dorman waded into deep water in the North Farms Mill pond and sank. He rose 15 feet from the bank. Julius waded and swam to him, but Dorman grasped him before Julius could take hold of Dorman, and both sank and were drowned. 20689-1693
