Lucille Moore died after saving Ernetta M. Harris from suffocation, Columbus, Ohio, November 7, 1985. Mrs. Harris, 59, was dazed after fire broke out in the kitchen of her apartment. Despite a history of cardiac problems which restricted her activities, Mrs. Moore, 75, retired homemaker, left her apartment on the floor below, climbed a flight of stairs, and entered Mrs. Harris’s apartment, which was filled with dense smoke. She guided Mrs. Harris to safety. Immediately afterward, Mrs. Moore became ill from smoke inhalation and within two hours suffered cardiac arrest. She could not be revived. 60781-7051
