Lucy G. Branham helped to save Dema T. Nelson, 26, from drowning, St. Petersburg, Florida, January 30, 1915. Miss Branham, 23, teacher, ran 150 feet to the end of the dock, then, fully dressed except as to shoes, she dived and swam to Miss Nelson, who was then nearly unconscious.
