Miriam Hague, 21, student, saved Margaret C. Rosequist, 20, from drowning, Tidioute, Pennsylvania, August 7, 1919. (See case of LOUIS E. SMUTZ.) Miss Rosequist was in the boat with Miss Phillips and the girls when the boat sank, and one of the girls grasped her and forced her under water. Miss Hague swam 80 feet to Miss Rosequist, reaching her after William and Smutz had swum to the group and taken all except Miss Rosequist. Miss Rosequist put one hand on Miss Hague’s shoulder, and Miss Hague swam with her 80 feet to wadable water. 19850-1673
