Newton Stuchel, 24, teamster, died attempting to save Charles Hoburn, 18, laborer, and Oscar Newberg, 17, from drowning, Mutual, Pennsylvania, June 13, 1904. Stuchel went to the assistance of the two men, who had become panic-stricken while bathing in a reservoir, and was dragged to the bottom by one of them. All three were drowned.
