Otis F. Hall saved J. Lloyd, 7, and Ethel C. Bechtel, 30, from drowning, Cory, Indiana, August 3, 1913. (See case of CLAUDE A. JONES.) Hall, 24, glass worker, reached Jones and the others after they had gone beneath the surface. He grasped Lloyd and swam about 12 feet to wadable water with him, then he swam back and grasped Mrs. Bechtel, who was bobbing up and down, and swam to wadable water with her.
