Paul H. Chadwick, 49, clerk, saved Charles J. Hammer, Jr., 30, and Ashby B. Paul, 30, from drowning, Aqueduct, Pennsylvania, July 11, 1926. Chadwick swam 50 feet to Hammer and Paul, and after separating them, he swam holding Hammer 50 feet to a boat. He also supported Paul, who took hold of his shoulder, for half that distance.
