Phillip Andrew Wynne rescued Odee C. Dunnam from assault, Mobile, Alabama, July 23, 1985. Mrs. Dunnam, 80, was alone in her home when a man armed with a knife forced his way inside and began to stab her. Mrs. Dunnam’s neighbor, Wynne, 29, college student, heard her scream and ran to the house. He entered and saw the assailant atop Mrs. Dunnam.
