Ralph H. Reeder, 25, superintendent, saved Bessie L. Lewis, 19, and Katherine M. Cain, 21, from drowning, Bordentown, New Jersey, July 6, 1908. Reeder went to the assistance of the girls in the Delaware River and, with Miss Cain clinging to his neck while Miss Lewis, under water, held to her, swam 25 feet to shallow water. 2712-297
