T. Henry Horrigan, 14, student, helped to save Arthur L. Powers, 19, student, from drowning, Waveland, Massachusetts, August 6, 1912. (See case of MARGARET F. GUY.) Henry started to swim to Powers a moment after Margaret started, and he swam 20 feet to him. Powers grabbed Henry around the body, preventing the use of his left arm. By hard struggling he succeeded in reaching a man standing neck deep in the water, who pulled the three to shallow water. Powers and Henry were able to wade to shore. 9127-906
