Thomas H. Robinson died attempting to save Edward J. Moore from drowning, Gloucester City, New Jersey, June 11, 1921. Edward, 13, schoolboy, attempted to swim across a small channel in Newton Creek, but he became frightened in deep water, threshed, and sank slightly. Thomas, 13, schoolboy, swam a short distance to Edward and supported him. They drifted about 45 feet in a current, going under the surface several times, and then became separated. Edward was aided by another boy to the bank, but Thomas sank and was drowned. 21645-1724
