Thomas Huntley, 40, outside mine foreman, helped to rescue John R. Eustice, 52, timberman, from a mine cave-in, Inkerman, Pennsylvania, August 22, 1907. Eustice and four others had been caught by the caving of the roof. While the roof was working, the walls squeezing, and small stuff falling at intervals, Huntley, with the assistance of three others, dug Eustice from under the coal and debris where he lay injured and carried him to safety. Eustice recovered. 3921-393
