William Ford, 35, fisherman, helped to save four men, and assisted in an attempt to save two others, from drowning, Bonavista, Newfoundland, September 19, 1907. (See case of J. LOUIS LITTLE.) William Ford descended on the rock to a point of much danger and assisted in the rescue work. When one of the seamen fell on the rocks, Ford grabbed him and helped him up the rock. He saved himself from being swept away by clinging to the rope. 6794-680
